My skin absorbs much deeper using this method than using a foaming wash. The dry skin and barrier function are the two things I look for in a serum. Since I have problematic dry skin upon application of all types of moisturizers (especially cocoa butter), using this product as a spot treatment before application of any other product seemed like a good solution.
